Outwith is the external file exchange for organisations that have to prove it. Send verified, expiring links, collect files from anyone, and run data rooms for deals and audits, with a record of every transfer. It works inside Google Drive or on its own.

A copy of exactly what you sent
When you share a file, Outwith sends an encrypted copy of it as it was at that moment, not a live link. Later edits never reach the recipient; when you do want them to have a new version, you send it on the same link. Links expire, can carry a download limit, and can require a code sent to the recipient's mailbox.

Collect files from anyone
Upload requests let clients, bidders and suppliers send you files without an account. You set the file types, sizes and closing date. Senders can upload whole folders, or pick files from Dropbox, OneDrive or Box where you allow it. Every file sent in is checked for known malware before anyone can open it.

Data rooms for the team
A room holds a deal's, project's or matter's files, shares and upload requests, with viewer, contributor and manager roles. The exchange belongs to the team and carries on when someone leaves. Closing a room ends every live link and request in it.

A record your auditor can use
Every view, download, verification attempt and refusal goes into an append-only log, with the recipient, IP address and outcome. Admins can filter it by user, room or action.

Kept as long as you decide, then gone
Stored copies follow your retention policy. When it runs out, the copy's key is destroyed and it can no longer be read. We publish how long backups take to age out (38 days) rather than leaving it vague.

Share and request files from the Google Drive add-on, or switch Drive off and use Outwith as your store for external exchange.

Files, databases and backups sit in Google Cloud's London region, in a separate application stack and database for each customer. Each file is encrypted with its own key. Built for ISO 27001-aligned environments; audit evidence available on request.
